What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care is a type of healthcare where you pay a monthly fee to see your doctor. This makes it easier to get care without the insurance hassles, allowing patients to have direct access to their provider and a more personalized healthcare experience.
How is DPC different from regular healthcare?
In regular healthcare, doctors bill your insurance for every visit and service provided during the visit. As the patient you pay your copay for the visit and may receive a bill later for the remaining balance not covered by insurance. In DPC, you pay a monthly fee and get more time with your doctor. You can see them as often as you need without extra charges and many concerns or needs can be met speaking directly to your provider without requiring travel to the clinic.
Do you take insurance?
No, we don’t take insurance. Instead, you pay a monthly fee for your care. You can still use your insurance for things like lab tests or seeing a specialist, but our services are paid for separately.
Can I join if I have insurance?
Yes! You can still keep your insurance for emergencies or specialists. Our DPC plan covers your primary care, which means regular check-ups and visits without dealing with insurance.
What do I get for $75 a month?
(Adults16 years and up) For $75 a month, you get unlimited office visits, telehealth (phone or video visits), and direct access to your provider. This includes things like check-ups, care for long-term health problems, and help when you’re sick.
Do you see families and kids?
Yes! We take care of kids and adults. Families can sign up together, so everyone gets the care they need. Children 15 years and younger- $35 a month (with adult membership), Adults16 years and up- $75 a month
What if I need a specialist?
If you need to see a specialist, we will help you find one. We can handle many health issues, but if you need more help, we’ll make sure you get the right care.
How do I sign up?
It’s easy to sign up! You can call or text our office at 865-564-5421. We’ll schedule your first visit to get to know you and your health needs, and if the model is right for you, we will complete your membership.
What if I need help after office hours?
As a member, you can contact us by phone, email, or text even after hours if it’s urgent. If it’s an emergency, though, you should go to the ER.
Do you offer lab tests?
Yes! We can do lab tests at wholesale cost. Routine labs are usually less than $20, but may increase depending on the medical needs and additional labs if recommended.
Why pay out-of-pocket instead of using insurance?
With DPC, you avoid the hassles of insurance approvals and claims. Your membership fee covers all provider services, meaning no surprise bills, co-pays, or deductibles. You get direct, personalized care at an affordable rate.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time with 30 days’ notice. There are no long-term contracts, and you’re free to return if you choose. We believe patients should stay with us because they value the care we provide, not because they are locked into a contract.
Do you offer virtual (online) visits?
Yes, we offer telehealth (online or phone visits) for all our members, currently only in the states of TN. What if I don’t have insurance? DPC is a good option if you don’t have insurance. You get all your primary care for a low monthly fee without having to pay extra each time you see the doctor. This means you can access healthcare
without worrying about high out-of-pocket costs for each visit.
Do you do CDL/DOT physicals?
Yes, we offer CDL/DOT physicals for drivers. Contact us to find out how to schedule an appointment and what it costs.
Do you offer vaccinations?
No, we don’t offer vaccinations because they cost too much without insurance. If you have insurance, it’s best to get them at a pharmacy. If you do not have insurance, we recommend going to the health department for vaccinations.
Do you offer family discounts?
Yes, we give a discount based on the number of family members within the same household. See Family Discount Information on the pricing page for additional details.
